It's the holidays, why aren't you smiling?

I baked today.

With Leah Fallon.

we're master bakers, so we master baked together.

Seriously though, she found recipes for holiday cookies in either Us or Ok! magazine, so she decided to make cookies off of recipes from Lance Bass, Jessica Simpson, and Fergie. The Simpson cookies were good. They had pudding mix in them so they were rich and yummy. I helped her for abour four of the five hours she was in the kitchen baking.

Yes, she will bake for five hours on a whim.

She's nothing if not committed.

After that, I went to dinner with her father and his boss. She calls it torture, I call it field research. If I'm ever to write believable characters, I should know how people act.

People are strange.

It's christmas! It hasn't hit me like when I was a kid and I just needed the 25th to get here so I could get presents. Now it's like an overall happy feeling all month long. Of course, I tend to be happy all year long, but at least this time I has a reason that I share with the world.

Community.

Of course, christmas is also a reason to play Josh Groban music. Not that I don't play it all year long mind you, but it's different to think of chestnuts roasting on an open fire in December. In December it's fitting, even though I've never had fire roasted chestnuts.

In June, it's just wrong.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa.
Happy New Year.

:D
